This whole speaking thing sort of happened by accident... and I couldn't be more thankful. After I hosted the film series of Compassion Canada's youth curriculum, True Story: What God Wants Us To Do About Poverty, I had the opportunity to speak at several youth conferences about True Story. Since then I have been so blessed with opportunities to speak and/or facilitate workshops at several youth and young adult conferences, church services and youth groups. You might say I've been bitten with the speaking bug, and it's an endeavour I hope to continue developing on a personal basis.
I would LOVE to come speak at your gathering or event! I speak on any or all of compassionate living, faith and social justice, the gospel and poverty, youth advocacy, social action, growing up in church, Jesus-centred feminism, international development, and recovering from perfectionism.
